Customized Modbus RTU Module | -- |
The communication interfaces in the KUNBUS-COM design were created as a further development of the KUNBUS-IC modules. The version Modbus RTU includes optoelectronic couplers, bus drivers, microcontrollers, and memory, as well as an SMC plug with 32 pins to control or application, and the plug-in connectors for bus connection.
The connection of the COM module is realized either via a cable or simply by plugging onto the control card. Because of the uniform pin-out of all COM modules, they can be replaced easily by other variants (for example CANopen, PROFIBUS, etc.). They then serve as Modbus option cards.
