Our IO-Link Wireless System on Module (SOM) enables you to equip your sensors & actuators with IO-Link Wireless even faster and easier. Even I/O modules or other automation components can be equipped with an IO-Link wireless master in this simple and uncomplicated way.

Our modules help you shorten the development cycle and avoid the cumbersome development and production of RF hardware. All modules offer a connector for external antennas, enabling an optimized mechanical and electrical layout of your device.

Our modules are based on Texas Instruments’ CC265x and CC264x microcontrollers. They are “IOLW qualifi ed” according to the IOLW standard and pre-certifi ed according to CE/FCC. The modules include MAC/PHY Layer, IOLW Master or Device Stack Services as well as an SPI interface for the connection to the device‘s main controller.

The integrated Arm® Cortex®-M3 processor enables the module to handle both the application and the communication. Optionally, the modules can also be used as pure communication modules.
