Single-chip solution for IO-Link master devices
You can implement an IO-Link master with fieldbus connection on a single chip using a Sitara AM437x controller from Texas Instruments. Both IO-Link and the fieldbuses use the PRU-ICSS units of the Sitara controllers. This leaves enough performance for your application. For the TI Sitara processor family we offer you the most common industrial network protocols with PROFINET, EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP. Combined development for IO-Link and IO-Link Wireless
Our stacks for IO-Link and IO-Link Wireless can be easily exchanged. Thus, both an IO-Link and an IO-Link Wireless master can be operated on an AM437 controller. In addition, we offer further possibilities to integrate IO-Link and IO-Link Wireless on one hardware. Further information about our IO-Link Wireless products.
IO-Link Safety
Our Development Toolkits for IO-Link include a Safety Extension. Developed in cooperation with the safety specialist PILZ and certified by TÜV Süd, the IO-Link Safety Extension can be used for applications up to SIL3/PLe. For evaluation and development purposes, the Safety Extension can be run on the evaluation hardware in single-channel mode. In addition, you also receive a ready-made test application for both the master and the device. This gives you an immediate communication partner for your IO-Link Safety development.
